We know hard work
The president and founder of Zoltan's Home Improvements (Zoltan Matus) began with a strong background in carpentry. After finishing trade school, he started working in Hungary in 1982.
Matus’s first job was in a shipping yard, building and repairing boats, lifeboats, interior restoration, ice-breaking boats, and more. At the same time Matus was working as a small entrepreneur carving chandeliers, installing doors, windows, casings and tongue and groove.
We know how to grow
In 1990 Matus arrived in Canada with not a lot of English, and a whole lot of skill. He immediately started working for contractors and renovators, learning the language and absorbing knowledge from his new environment until 2000, when he launched his own business: Zoltan.
We know attention to detail
When asked what the core value for his business is, Matus says that it is “perfectionism.”
Over the last 16 years, Zoltan has grown into the successful company it is today, providing high-quality workmanship and professional service to a customer base as strong and wide as Matus’s accomplishments.
